This large private island is situated 45 miles (72 km) east of Belize City, at the northern end of Lighthouse Reef. The island is near the famous Blue Hole, a world-famous spot for scuba diving, teaming with undersea life. Snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving and fishing are superb in the waters around the island. 200 acres (81 ha) of the island is buildable, the balance being made up of lagoons.
