Gambier Island is a 700 acre "boat access only" island located close to Vancouver. Parts of the island are being logged.
Kwaikans Island would make an ideal wilderness retreat because of its great hunting and fishing. Shrimp and crab are also found in the bay.
Good deepwater moorage is provided by a protected bay. Undeveloped, Heard Island has several waterfront building sites offering great potential.
Mayne Island is located in BC's famous Southern Gulf Islands, named for Lieutenant Richard Charles Mayne of the Survey ship HMS Plumper (1860).
Jenkins Island has 7 beaches, 5 fresh water streams, 3 cabins and good moorage. Easy boat and airplane access, only 25 minutes from Nanaimo.
Surrounding waters provide excellent salmon, cod, halibut and crab fishing. A short boat trip and hike provides access to Oval Bay.
