Hunter Island

Build yourself that unique get away on you own island. Island is approx 1.5 acres and is in private Hunter Lake in the 881 acre Scottish Hills Club northwest of Midland. Lake is part of club that is shared by only 46 owners.

Along with year round fishing on the dam controlled lake there is a park with a dock and camping area. Hunting abounds with deer, turkey, grouse, pheasant, and other small game. If you want waterfowl, you can head over to the marsh area for ducks. There is also a shooting range to use before you go out in the field. Hunter Lake is approx. 150 acre lake with depths to 50 feet and a varied shoreline.

Association maintains roads, common areas and bathhouse at park. Property already has a well and septic in place. There is an easement to end of peninsula just south of island for parking and then boat over, or you can build a bridge for access. Get off the island on the trails around the common area for hiking or cross country skiing.

Lot on peninsula is available and has a 24 x 48 pole barn in place for storage of all your toys.
