Lazy Caye is a newly filled island at the northern end of the Drowned Cayes Range. Easy access to big game fishing through the cut in the reef only 2 miles away. Lazy Caye sits just 2 miles south of St. Georges Caye and 6 miles Northeast of Belize City.
The island is at the mouth of a deep channel that leads through the range of islands with the western exit of the channel right in front of the cruise ships. The distance to the cruise ship moorings is 6 miles. Lazy Caye features 700 feet of beachfront facing East Northeast with very protected dockage along both of the back sides of the island. There are currently well over a hundred Coconut Palms being planted on the island that will begin to produce within 3 years. This island is an ideal location for an estate with just enough privacy but yet close enough to town for supplies.
