This unique property is situated on a peninsula in the climatic health resort of Schluchsee. The peninsula is located on the sunny southwest side of the lake, with direct lake access.

The area around Schluchsee is the centre of water sports in the Black Forest. In the winter, the area is ideal for skiing, tobogganing or ice-skating. The property has a total floor space of 2.753 mē.

The two-storyed house was built in 1934 by the German publisher Burda. Meanwhile, the house was sold to the Kellog family. The Stiftung Warentest (German testing organization) classified the Schluchsee several times as "one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany". At the lake, it's possible to hire out of rowing, pedal and electro boats as well as a ship for longer lake tours in the Black Forest.
