Szeroki Ostrow Island

This island is 217 acres, designated for development of a tourist and sports facility, located in the central part of the Mazurian District, consisting of the peninsula Szeroki Ostrów on Sniardwy Lake and the area at its base.

Assets of the Property: No other place in Poland possesses similar landscapes. In the northern and eastern direction, the view is of the largest lake in Poland - Sniardwy Lake. In the southern direction, you can see an inlet towards Seksty Lake and the peninsula Kaczor. Nearby, you can also see the islands of Pajecza and Czarci Ostrów, once the home of a fortified castle. A glacier created high elevations from which one can admire a wonderful view for many kilometres.

Due to the convenient location, the peninsula is easily accessible for both water and land tourists. Its location on the Route of Large Mazurian Lake makes it a perfect base for sailors. The property is near the Mazurian Landscape Park. The approved development plan does not conflict with the principles of the environment protection plan of the park and the surrounding areas.

According to the regulations in the park documentation, the location of the peninsula Szeroki Ostrów plays an important role in the ecological equilibrium of the Park, constituting a sanctuary for many rare species of plants and animals. The popularity of the Mazurian District and its location guarantee a future investor a lot of visitors during holidays. There are already numerous recreational complexes in the Mazurian area; with proper marketing, one can expect a lot of tourist traffic, even during winter.

Land Development Plan: In accordance with the local development plan of the community of Pisz, the offered property is designated as part of the peninsula for tourist and sport facilities: camping sites, beaches, a golf course, an area for horseback riding, a game park, cycling paths.
