This private island has it all: 2 small, rustic cottages (a caretaker currently stays in one of these cottages), a dock, a drilled well, and the possibility of electrical service from the BC Hydro lines on Vancouver Island, only ¾ of a mile (1 km) away.

Chain Island is completely level, and covered with old growth Douglas Fir and Arbutus trees. A nature trail runs the length of the island. Located about 30 miles (50 km) north of Victoria, Chain Island enjoys a very mild climate, with minimal rainfall.
