Cove Caye is a newly filled island with a spectacular view of the Belize barrier reef only 2 miles away. Cove is the larger of the two filled islands in the aerial pictures. The island is nestled within the Drowned Cayes range and sits in a cove with virtually no wave action.

Access to the island is through a deep channel between the various islands in the range and opens on the west to Belize City only 7 miles to the west. The island's unique position allows protected dockage on the north west side and over 300 feet of beachfront on the south east side. Baby Coconut Palms have been planted along the beachfront so in a few years as the vegetation matures, the island will have a whole new tropical feel. Access to this island is best from Belize City.
