Feature Island

Regional Information

Curacao is where northern Europe meets the southern Caribbean. This country's nearest neighbour is Venezuela, but Curacao belongs to Netherlands Antilles. This region's influence is mixed; the capital's architecture surrenders to climatic practicalities, but her waterfront looks like a slice of Amsterdam in Caribbean Technicolor. Curacao is the birthplace of the famous liqueur, probably more well known in some circles than the island itself. Curacao has a stunning private island available for rent, Isla Kiniw. This island is a water sport playground; activities include swimming, snorkelling and sailing. Once you're out on the open water, fish for Blue Marlin or boat to nearby restaurants and shops.
