This pristine Lake Cowichan island is approximately 3.24 acres in size and known locally as Dead Mans Island. It's located one hour north of Victoria and one hour south of Nanaimo. Lake Cowichan is an easy commute to 80% of Vancouver Island.

Lake Cowichan is a large freshwater lake at 34 kilometres (20 miles) in length. The lake and world renowned Cowichan River are known as an exceptional recreation area, diverse in sport fishing, hiking and water sports. The crystal blue lake boasts spectacular sunsets and the towering mountains of the Cowichan Valley at the entrance to the Carmanah Walbran Valley.
