Elizabeth Island is 100 acres and one mile long, with approximately 2 miles of water frontage. It features breathtaking white sand beaches in coves and bays. The water is excellent for snorkelling, fishing, diving or sailing. The island is available starting in 2008 (no October bookings accepted) and exclusively for 4-week rentals. The cost for the 4 week stay totals US $6000.

Location Elizabeth Island is located in the Exuma Group, Bahamas. It is south of Stocking Island, 2.5 miles away from Elizabeth Harbour in George Town, capital city of Great Exuma. George Town has all facilities including banks, doctors, stores and a yachting centre. Elizabeth Island is 145 miles from Nassau and approximately 350 miles from Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Accommodations The house features spectacular water views and a private beach. The house has two double-bedrooms, each with an enclosed bathroom and WC. There's also a kitchen and a living room, leading to a large roofed terrace overlooking the ocean. The house is in good condition but is kept very simply.

The house has all elementary amenities like electricity (solar panels) and water. The owner wanted to keep a “Robinson Crusoe” feeling to the island, so things like TV, Internet, and a dishwasher are not available. A caretaker lives on the island and can be contacted for assistance.

Long-term rentals are preferred and a considerable reduction can be negotiated.
