I like the observatory idea!

I'd want: a beach, a sleeping shack, eating shack and compost toilet shack (all seprate!) and a nice high point to check everything out from!

Idealy a nice kitchen garden too!

I'm going to really answer your ?. I would want an observatory so I could star gaze. I would want a brewery so... you know why. I would want a Tennis court right in the middle of "jungle". A paintball area would be super cool. I would want one of those RC planes with a camera too.

First and foremost I want to have a big house in the middle of the island and one near the beach. Of course I would definitely love to have a swimming pool and maybe a tennis court because I love to play tennis.
Of course I want my boyfriend and my family on the island. That all sounds just perfect to me.

Vital: Pier, pit toilet, house (or shack, or even a tent. Feck it, I'll sleep on the boat if I have to!)

Basic: Wind turbine, airstrip, atv.

Mad: A tunnel to the mainland, so I couldn't be stranded. A watchtower/armoury, to deal with "pests". A huge house under the shack, wouldn't want to spoil the surrounds. Land on the mainland to connect my tunnel to. I could even run utilities through this!

I am happy on my island with just the beach, my golf cart, and most importantly, my family. Having a lookout tower isn't needed, but sure is nice to watch those evening sunsets.

I would also probably have a house that looks good in whatever environment my island is in and possibly have a house like Bill Gates' which looks kind of big on the outside, but is humungous on the inside, because a lot of it is underground. Of course, I don't need 66,000 sq. feet, but maybe a large underground area.

The island i really want to buy has a house and a church on it, and those are the only two small buildings on the huge island, so if I ever get �25 million, I probably won't build any new stuff on it (except maybe the big undergound area).

I'd also have a very nice boat anchored offshore or in a small "bay" if I have one.

My needs are pretty simple (I like your answer, Stevv!). Beautiful forest, sandy beaches and a basic cabin with loads of big windows.

we are pretty well set up, but there are times i would like to have full electricity. we have the option to have it brought over from the mainland, but it is expensive.

right now the generator keeps us "happy", but 24/7 lights might be a little nicer.

Tiki hut with fans, bar, TV, speakers, etc.

Viewing platform with 2nd story elevated platform.

Kayak holder for 6 kayaks.

Covered boat slip.

A lot of palm trees with wood supports that will withstand 80 mph winds.

Vanishing edge pool, community clubhouse, community beach.

Tennis court.

Roof deck platform on top of the entire roof of the home.

The beach area needs to appear like a hotel, with lawn chairs by the pool.
