Family-owned island in mid-coast Maine seeks caretaker for summer months, June thru September. Work involves some maintenance, cleaning of rental houses, and familiarity with boats, tools, equipment. I would normally be interested in the challenge however I am not mechanically inclined, perhaps that is something I should work on. I am surprised there have not been more replies to this post. I have heard that island caretaker positions are quite desirable.
I am also surprised that there have not been any replies yet. This is a beautiful island in prime penobscot bay location. Position is ideal for single or couple. Would love to hear from any interested parties and would be happy to share details with any serious inquiries.

we are a Kiwi couple currently serving in the New Zealand navy, I am a marine mechanic and my partner works as a supply officer (logistics and HR) we are looking at leaving the Navy in May to travel abroad...... this sounds like an interesting couple of months work to start us on our way!!! if you could contact us at bubba_430@hotmail.com with some more details we could be very interested.
