I like Arctic islands and seal hunting!

Hello Island Lovers,

I'm an island aficionado currently living in Yellowknife NWT where I'm employed as a welder in the diamond industry in arctic Canada. The money is great but working in remote arctic camps is the challenging aspect. There are lots of islands up there and I hope to purchase an arctic island one day so I can enjoy the excellent opportunities for seal hunting, another interest of mine. Furthermore, I hope develop a seal hunting lodge on this island. It will be interesting to talk islands with all the other forum members.

I'm personally fascinated by the Arctic area and I'm so pleased we have a new member hailing from the frozen north. I'm just wondering if you need a permit to hunt seals in the Arctic or is it more of an anything goes type of situation?
