Greetings Islanders,
if you should venture over to the Discovery Channel, you will see a program that speaks about improving housing, so that it might withstand a hurricane. the process uses carbon fibres, and are pleated to give protection from the hurricane and the debris that happens to be flying on by ! check it out at the Discovery Channel !

| I read about houses built from recycled container, but never make the benefits of this hurricane in the region. Reader of this sent me some links to really whet my interest! This simple accommodation in Australia, used to house some of the drones research in the rainforest, has been through a category 5 hurricane. |

| There's a great show called 'World's Most Extreme Homes' that has lots of really interesting ideas about building houses to withstand all sorts of unusual climate and environmental conditions. |
