This magnificent property sits on the Pacific Ocean at the confluence of the Palena River and the Pitipalena Fjord. Nearby rivers include the famous Ti Toc River. Along the sea side are 4 quaint hobbit cabins, each with its own bed and bathroom. There is a main hobbit cabin that is used as a kitchen and sitting area. Behind the hobbit cabins, there is the home of the host family as well as lush green pastures filled with sheep, goats and horses. The host family is native Chilean and can serve you authentic Chilean Cuisine in the main hobbit cabin and manage the ranch for you on a full time basis. Marine Wildlife Excursions Because of the pristine location of Los Leones located right on the Pacific Ocean you can have a guaranteed adventurous excursion. There are local guides that can take you out on a boat to colonies of sea lions. In route to the sea lion colonies it is very probable that you will have sightings of penguins, orca, and possibly blue whale and certainly many dolphin. Kayaking Los Leones is well equipped with new kayaks that can be used for adventuring through the many calm and pristine waters surrounding the property. Volcano Site-Seeing In the near distance two volcanoes can be seen, the Michin Mahuida and Melimoyu. In boat, you may be taken to a spectacular view of these two ancient volcanoes. |
