French House Island, Maine

This 8.4 acre ocean island was once a thriving colonial community in the 1700s, and at that time included a store, a school, a smokehouse and several farms and fish-curing industries. Located east of the Jonesport-Beals Island bridge, this beautiful island is wooded with spruce and fir and features deep soils and a sand beach.
