of our readers, the advent of March
signals the end of the dark, gray months
of winter that we endure as residents of
the Northern Hemisphere. As we gradually
strip away layers of sweaters and scarves
in anticipation of spring's promised
warmth and sun, it can be difficult to
believe that the temperature rise
indicated by climate change experts would
not be a entirely welcome phenomenon.
However, the rise in sea levels incurred
by warmer temperatures is a growing
concern for many island lovers across the
globe, and we at Private Islands have
