On August 10, 2006, Sheldon Good & Company is holding the first auction of its kind. If you're interested in any of the islands up for auction, you still have time to preview. Islands in Belize, the US Virgin Islands, Papua New Guinea, and two in New York state are already on the auction block. The low minimum bids now being offered are for a minimum time only.

Thatch Cay is now being offered at $18-Million instead of $24-Million;  Castaways Reef is being offered at $2.75-Million instead of $4.9-Million; Coral Atoll is being offered at $5-Million instead of $25-Million; and on the Hudson River, Green Island is being offered at $1.2-Million instead of  $1.9-Million and Thompson Island is being offered for the first time at $3-Million. These islands are priced to sell; if you've ever had your eye on any of the islands being offered, now is the time to buy.
