Dear Island Enthusiasts,
The month of May has been a busy time for us here at Private Islands Inc., with the launch of several interesting projects and the addition of many spectacular
new island properties. The luxuriously developed
Scott Island in British Columbia is more than just fit for a king- the present owner is a prominent British royal. Also recent to our marketplace is the Scottish isle of
Eilean Balnagowan and New York’s stunning
Fort Montgomery, both offering dramatic scenery and rich histories. And if the past winter has inspired a desire to get away from snow and slush for good, imagine the idyllic, sun-kissed life one would find operating the charming Belize resort of
Tarpon Caye.
An exciting event is approaching for the world of private islands, as one of the most desirable isles in the Bahamas is set to be auctioned on June 28th, 2007. Complete with a luxury home and full airplane landing strip,
Leaf Cay is a self-contained fantasy located in the heart of the Exumas. If you’ve ever dreamt of ruling your own Caribbean kingdom, the bidding begins at US $12M…

Private Islands is pleased to announce our new association with
Seacology, the world’s premier non-profit organization for the preservation of island ecosystems. The valuable efforts of Seacology promote a “win-win” ethos, sponsoring infrastructure and development assistance in exchange for designated wildlife and habitat preserves. These projects have saved countless areas of wilderness in some of the world’s most fragile island ecologies, including
Papua New Guinea,
Fiji and the Maldives. We look forward to highlighting some of Seacology’s accomplishments in a special section to be launched in the coming weeks.
Farewell for now, and we wish you success in finding your dream island… or pleasure in dreaming for the future.
