Until recent times, Nicaragua didn’t seem like much of a holiday destination, but this beautiful country is full of lush green rain forests, mountains, lakes and of course, sun swept beaches. A foray into Nicaragua’s Caribbean coast will reveal lovely tropical islands, some of them available for rent. You can enjoy your own private beach on one of the Pearl Cays, just off the east coast. Nicaragua has two coasts to her name and borders the Pacific on the west coast.
