Nuku Island is 10 acres for lease in the Tongatapu Group. A 50 year lease may be obtained. This island is 20 minutes by slow boat from the village of Kolonga, in the Eastern District or 50 minutes by speed boat from Nuku'alofa.

Nuku Island has good anchorage and great swimming on the best beach in Tongatapu. This island was featured a few years back in the British TV series, Shipwrecked. Nuku Island has good soil for vegetation. Beside the many coconut trees, there are various tropical plants on the island, some planted during the filming period 7 years ago. This is an ideal little island with one of the best swimming beaches in Tonga.
