Pellew Island VillaPellew Island Villa, JamaicaPellew Island Villas are $2.1 Million Each Pellew Isle is located in Pellew Bay between The Blue Lagoon and Alligator Head, just 5 miles east from the town of Port Antonio. Four villas are being built on Pellew Island in Port Antonio. The island, littered with almond and willow trees, bamboo copses, ferns and other exotic flora, will host four villas. There will be three 3 bedroom villas and one 2 bedroom villa. Each will include an individual Jacuzzi and staff/laundry facilities. The design concept envisages an old Jamaica/Balinese style of architecture with clinker board exteriors, thatched covered copper alloy roofs, high ceilings, wrap around verandahs, demerara windows and poured coloured concrete/wooden floors in the appropriate areas. Furnishings, fittings and equipment are proposed at a high–end designer level, including stainless steel kitchens. The common areas will be limited, with strong emphasis on elegant simplicity. There will also be a moon deck - an exposed wooden deck (with bar area) erected at the highest point, to provide a visual feast of the elements and windward ocean views. The island also proposes 4 clover leaf jetties, each with central bar facility (and thatch umbrella) on the leeward side. PATHWAY & GARDENS: Fire lit pathways meandering through landscaped gardens and unique water features will access all common areas. The island can be acessed by an electric powered glass bottom boat/bamboo rafts from the main road access lot. This lot will also accommodate a small reservations office and security post. There are two villas available for sale. PORT ANTONIO Port Antonio, the capital of Portland, was described by the American poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox who vacationed there, as “the most exquisite port on the earth”. It is also one of the few places in the world where there is not one traffic light on the roads. Port Antonio, has retained its charm as a quiet rural township and is home to one of the most beautiful harbours in the Caribbean. The town was glamorized by Hollywood in the 1940s and 50s, as it became the model of paradise for the silver screen. This was endorsed by the arrival of world-famous movie star Errol Flynn, who purchased Navy Island and Boston Estates, and who recently gave his name to the new Mega-Yacht Marina in the west harbour in Port Antonio. Members of European Royal families, movie stars, great musicians and well known politicians who continue to visit Port Antonio are countless. Pellew Island Villas are $2.5 Million Each |
