Small, flat and relatively inexpensive, Pine Island is one of BC's famed Gulf Islands and is located near the larger Pender Island. The Gulf Islands lie between the mainland city of Vancouver and the provincial capital of Victoria, situated on Vancouver Island.

Known for their warmclimate, natural beauty and the many artists and craftsmen who make their home there, the Gulf Islands are a sportsman's and sailing paradise. Connections to both Vancouver and Victoria are easily made via the public ferries which travel the waters between those cities and the Islands.
