René Böhm is one of the most successful private island and exclusive vacation brokers in the world. Both businessman and lawyer, Böhm has specialized in selling private islands worldwide for 35 years. He was the first German real estate broker to successfully gauge the private island market. He sold his first island in the Seychelles and did so as a young university student. René Böhm studied law at Hamburg University, as well as political science at Columbia University in New York and completed his law studies, specializing in international private law. His main business is still selling private islands and he has travelled the world since the 1970s studying geographical archives and charts, screening the most promising maritime areas in search of the ideal island.
