The island is 20 acres, with elevations up to 35 feet, two beaches and a naturally protected harbour. The island is completely protected from the ocean by a larger island to the east. It is in a very good location only 28 miles southeast of Nassau, and just north of Highbourne Cay and Normans Cay (where an Amann Resort is planned). Supplies can be obtained from Highbourne Cay where there is a marina, gas dock and supply shop/supermarket. There is also a little house on the island.
