Feature Island

Regional Information

The Turks and Caicos is an archipelago of around 40 islands surrounded by a large network of coral reef. Divers are kept busy with a range of wall and wreck dives – the waters have visibility up to 200 feet. The island is also home to some amazing bone fishing flats. From your private island resort, visit neighbouring cays, home to an iguana preserve or osprey sanctuary. This laid back collection of cays is an opus to sun, sea and sand. Many of its tourists are Canadian and with the islands' British Colony status, there have been discussions regarding this colony joining Canada. The economic advantage for the Turks and Caicos would be great, but the island might sink with a massive influx of Canadians fleeing their igloos for warmer winter climes.
