This private island from Hell (Hell, Michigan, that is) is situated in Hi-Land Lake, part of a chain of 7 interconnected lakes. The island is named for the large turtles that inhabit the lake, and lay their eggs in the sand.

Turtle Island is nicely wooded with oak, and has beautiful sand and gravel beaches. The island reaches 20 feet (6 m) at its highest point, and has 2 choice building sites available, as well as a well. Included in the sale is a 100' x 40' (30 m x 12 m) access lot on the lakefront, providing parking and easy access to the island. A pontoon boat/barge, capable of transporting up to 5000 lbs (2268 kg) is also included.
