Green Lagoon Resort is conceived as a special place for guests who are ready to pay for the luxury of space, nature, individuality.

There will be only 4 units for guests on the 7-acres island VETTILA THURUTHU, apart from the kitchen, staff house, managers` house, and utitliy buildings. A Museum with a collection of South Indian Art objects is an additional attraction.

The island is divided by several canals, and it has an internal lake of 400 m circumference which adds structure to the topography.

Each guest unit is surrounded by water – the lake and canals – which makes it an island on the island with its own boat arrival place.

Each unit consists of 2 – 3 rooms (1 of them a/c) with 2 bathgardens / bathrooms, a massage room, a room for the butler in special charge of the guests of that unit, and a swimming pool 10 x 5 m with jacuzzi, and infinity edge towards the lake.

The first two units for guests are ready:

SUNRISE RESIDENCE consisting of an old Kerala wooden house (translocated from Pala) with 2 rooms and a bathgarden; a stone house with a/c and bathgarden, a massage room, a butler room with kitchenette, and the pool.

HIGH NOON RESIDENCE has 2 rooms (one a/c) and 2 bathgardens, massage room, butler room & kitchenette, all on a big platform towards the pool.

The third unit, the SUNSET RESIDENCE, will consist of the former staff house (modified) plus an old Kerala wooden house, and a pool. It is under construction (Construction is suspended for the season, will be continued after April 2010).

The fourth unit is the LAP POOL RESIDENCE, a two-storey building to be built in 2010.

All the four guest units are south of the main canal. North of it are the museum, the managers` house, the staff house with stores, the kitchen, generator house, water treatment plant, deep bore well, water tanks, transformer and transformer house. Most parts of the Island are protected from the lake by a rubble wall, and also the main parts of the canals are walled, totally about 860 meters of rubble wall. There are 9 bridges across the canals. All houses are connected by approx. 430 meters of masoned pathways (underneath 4 brick canals for water pipes, toilet water pipes, electric cables, TV cable, covered by shabad slabs).

Five minutes by boat, at Kudapuram, we have a plot of land with three garages, connected by road from Eramalloor at the highway (2.5 km). Just opposite the Island we have a small piece of land where we have erected the electric post (connecting to the transformer on our island) and built a boat jetty.

Ready: Houses: Residence East, Residence South, Private Guest House, Museum, Managers` House, New Staff House, Dog Kennel, Kitchen, Garages.

Infrastructure: Generator house, water treatment plant and water tanks, deep bore well, cable TV, 2 generators 15 & 60 kVa, transformer on the island, pathways & bridges with illuminations, rubble walls around the island and along most canals.

Landscaping & gardening around the Residences, the Museum and the Managers` House. Coconuts, cashewnuts, arecanuts, mangos, papaya, different types of banana, custard apple, goava, passion fruit and many vegetables are already available from the garden. More fruit trees, as well as timber trees, have been planted

Transport: Car (Toyota Innova), Pick-up Jeep Mahindra, Speedboat, 2 Country Boats with engines (one covered with a roof) ,Country Boat without engine, small canoo.
