Deerlea II Camps. Two rustic cabins offer unique 'Northwoods' charm in an unbeatable lakefront setting. The large private boat dock overlooks pristine Moosehead Lake with fantastic views of Squaw Mountain. Gradually wade in for a swim, or just plunge in off the end of the deep water dock and swim to your own nearby

private island. Experience brilliant sunsets from the dock or huge picture windows of the cabins. Dine outdoors or relax with a good book on the screened porches overlooking the lake. Wake up to cool mornings with a fire in the large fireplace. Hike, mountain bike, go berrying, and enjoy the wildlife right from your back door. The large cabin sleeps 7-9 with 3 bedrooms with twin beds, a large loft, a balcony overlooking the living area, spacious great room with a fireplace and fabulous views, as well as a modest kitchen and separate dining area. Moosehead Lake is a boater's paradise with numerous beaches and coves to explore. Activities in the area include canoeing, kayaking, boating, waterskiing, white water rafting, moose watching, hiking. Take an aerial tour of the region by float plane, or cruise the 40 mile long lake on the historic ship Kathadin. Hike (or take the chairlift) up Squaw Mountain, hike spectacular Mt. Kineo, or the Gulf Hagas, known as the "Grand Canyon of Maine." Visit the WWII B-52 bomber crash site on Elephant Mt. Fishing and fly fishing is available in every direction. Play golf at nearby resorts. Rent jet skis or a ski boat at nearby Beaver Cove Marina. Kayaks, canoes, and other sport rentals available in town. Go out to eat at local pubs or gourmet restaurants in Greenville, "Gateway to the Great Northwoods." Visit gift and antique shops. Cookout at home with supplies from the 2 grocery stores in town.

'Little' Cabin sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 2 twin beds. It has a large screened porch, also overlooking the lake, and a modest kitchen/dining area. Both cabins offer authentic hunting lodge decor. The camp, situated on a dead-end road, is secluded and rustic yet only 10 minutes from town by car or by boat! If you want to get away, enjoy privacy, relax, and wake up to the lapping of the lake water on the rocks and calls of the loons, watch sunsets, fish, swim, read, or walk in the surrounding forest, this is the place! Great for a family, or friends and large enough for a family reunion. Dealea II will keep you coming back year after year!
