Feature Island

Regional Information

Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa, with a tropical climate consisting of mostly of high plateau with some hills and mountains. Three major rivers run through Zambia: the Kafue, the Luangwa and the Zambezi. The latter river is a good place to find a private island, perhaps one suitable for tourist lodge. This area of Zambia is teeming with birds and animals almost as spectacular as the nearby Victoria Falls. Rafting down any of the country’s rivers provides a rare chance to enjoy all Zambia’s wondrous nature.
