Upon entering the main home your first view is looking through the great room to the enclosed 60 ft porch through dual French doors. Each door throughout the house is made of fiberglass by fibertrue .All doors have stainless steel hinges and door locks of Chrome brass and stainless from a yacht supply company. Master bedroom is large 26ft x15.5 ft 403 sq ft. A 16 ft high ceiling in natural cypress tongue and groove. Walls are white oak painted a very light yellow for a bright feeling throughout. The master bedroom has 2 ceiling fans and air conditioning with rev cycle heat. Large closet with window, and open ceiling for ventilation. The bath has a large vanity with ample storage, glass block shower with glass block window for plenty of light. Adjoining is a private toilet area with large opening window and linen storage. Dual French doors open to large screened porch with a hammock overlooking the spa and ocean beyond. On the wall across from the master bed are 2 Single French doors which open to view the dock and open water view. Interior sliding pocket door opens to great room.
Across the great room is guest bedroom 21x 15 with twin queen beds and dual French doors opening to the screened waterfront porch. On the opposit wall are 2 single French doors opening to the side porch. There is a 4ft wrap around porch around the entire house. Air conditioning and 2 ceiling fans help control the comfort of this area. There is direct access to the vanity area which also has a single French door out to the porch. The adjoining bathroom with full bath tub and shower.
The third bedroom is on the 2nd floor and has 2 single beds and an adjoining bath with shower with opening skylight.. This area doubles as an office area with a computer. The area immediately outside this bedroom has an open area with a game table and a single day bed all overlooking the water. A private waterfront deck is adjoining this area. This area opens to the 12' wide half round window overlooking the adjoining waterfront.
Up the oak circular stairs to the copula which measures 13x10 and has a 12x 10 deck as well as a full walk around with railings for security. The views are breathtaking. You can see Marsh Harbour because it is less than 1/4 mile away, also you can see Hope town/Elbow cay and to the north, Man-o-War and Guana cay. There is a chimney which holds the Satellite antenna, and the wi=fi repeater antenna as well as the vhf antenna.
Back down stairs to the great room and kitchen area.
From the front door, The kitchen is to the right with hand painted tile island, stainless refrigerator, gas range oven and hand painted tile back splash . The island is large enough to prepare dinner or to dine at as well. There is desk area where we use a laptop computer with a magic jack for free telephone calls to the usa. We also have a VHF radio at this station. A large pantry is next to the refrigerator . Opposite the kitchen is the laundry/utility room. This room has a washer/dryer as well as an additional refrigerator used just for beverages. A separate convection oven and rotisserie is also in this room. As well as a full pantry.
Further into the home is the dining area with a dining table that seats 8 with removable leaves. Opposite is a fireplace where we run our wires to the 3rd floor antenna area. Next is a living room area of a full sofa and love seat with a coffee table. The ceiling in this area is 16 feet high. Opposite is a entertainment center with stereo C/D player.
Out to the porch where there is a complete set of fiberglass swivel furniture for dinning and lounging. The material on these is sunbrella for all weather use. At the east end is a large hammock overlooking the Cool spa and the ocean in the background.
On the west end there are 2 gas grills one for slow cooking and one for normal fast cooking.
The entire house has accordion shutters to secure the house when not in residence.
Guest cottage: up the walkway is a guest cottage that has proven to be a wonderful investment. It comprises 1073 sq ft, 2 bedrooms and a bath. And a full screened porch overlooking the beach. A fully equipped kitchen with all appliances necessary to enjoy your island time. Air conditioned kitchen and bedrooms. Washer/dryer computer with wireless connection as well as Satellite tv. Great room French doors open out to water front for beautiful breezes.
