Currently Kandui Resort consists of 7 Umas (name for Traditional Mentawai homes), a restaurant/bar, an office, 2 worker houses, a worker kitchen, a big laundry room, which also houses the resort's female staff, a generator room with 3 silent diesel gensets, and a guard shack. The island also has one of only 3 high-speed internet connections in the entire area.

A bridge leads from behind the restaurant through the mangroves and up to the hills in the very center of Karangmajat Island, and also a dock on the back side of the land in the mangroves. The entire grounds have been recently landscaped with short Japanese grass and multiple varieties of tropical flowers with the pathways soft, white beach sand-lighted for travel by night.

There is substantial room to expand the resort to have at least 3-5 times as many units as currently exist.
