Siloinak is located in Playground area, with 20 surf spots at less than 20 minutes by speedboat. It is recognized as one of the best surf destination in the world. The surfing season lasts from April to October (High season) and December to March (Low season). The tourism season is all year round, the rainy season being not too well defined in this equatorial location. Some year, there is no rain season at all. Thanks to its absolute privacy, this island is perfect for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, family holidays or discreet business meetings.

No sandflies or mosquitoes will disturb your experience of the island, as you surf, fish, explore the jungle or just relax on the powdery white beaches. Snorkeling, and other water activities are also available. The island has a stunning lagoon with tropical fish, and beautiful flora can be enjoyed in untouched areas of the property (including 420 palm trees) and there are 7200ft of soft sand beaches.

Siloinak Resort has a maximum occupancy of 24 guests, and there are up to 8 staff members to help you enjoy your visit to the fullest.

12 bungalows, all with en suite bathrooms, are scattered around the island to provide the ultimate in privacy, connected via a pathway that leads to the island's restaurant. The buildings are constructed in traditional Mentawai fashion with rich local hardwoods. In terms of amenities, the island has audio and video conferencing equipment, satellite TV, internet and phone.

The Mentawai Archipelago is composed of 70 islands located 130 kilometers off of the West Coast of Sumatra. Siloinak itself lies 3km south of Siberut, the largest island in the chain.

The resort is located within a Marine Protected Zone, giving the island and surroundings and unspoiled quality.

Access to the island by comfortable private speedboats within 4/5 hours sailing time from the international airport of Padang, Sumatra.
