This is a small island in Louisdale Harbour (Seal Cove is the original name of the harbour). Power and telephone are available within a few hundred yards.

At low tide, one can walk to the island from the mainland (just follow the shoreline). Jemzie's Island has good shelter and a public launch is nearby. The island can be reached from the end of the Island View Drive road. The topography is cleared, partially cleared and softwood bush.
