Banwa Private Island offers six beachfront villas with 11 bedrooms for up to 22 guests, positioned facing different directions so each villa feels apart from the others. Every villa has its own private infinity pool, on a 6-hectare island — about 15 acres — in a marine protected area in the Sulu Sea.
Arrival is only by private seaplane, helicopter or boat charter. Meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included, with produce from the island's own organic farm. The island also offers a spa, gym, tennis and short-game golf, with snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding included and Tubbataha Reef diving as an add-on. Banwa can be booked as individual villa stays or as a Full Island Charter.
