A newly discovered water world paradise, Isla Milagrosa is surely destined to be a water sports amusement resort to be enjoyed the whole year round, for all seasons and for all ages. The island is a mystical and fantasy island, where no big waves, non-tropical storms nor earthquakes ever strike. It’s a haven for adventurers, thrill seekers and the sports minded generation eager to experience the harmonic balance of tropical peace and serenity with friendly, hospitable people and community. Ideal for the whole family's vacation in a Christian dominated region of the eastern province of Zamboanga del Norte, Mindanao. The people in Murciliagos are 99% Roman Catholics, hospitable to tourists and in one of the most peaceful places in Mindanao.

Isla Milagrosa is blessed with an original certificate of title no. P-250087, approved on March 12, 1979 and certified by the Bureau of Lands and issued by the Registered of Deeds, of the province of Zamboanga del Norte. It is a large island with 12.35 acres and is one of the few private titled islands in the Philippines.

The island is very unique in that it is surrounded by a 3x1 metre rock dike, serving as its boundary, security and protection from the outside world making it the ideal place for a single upscale family ownership or a world class corporate tropical resort. The island is expandable from 25-62 acres of shallow deep waters, perfect for reclamation and excavation of vast and available white sand surrounding the island.

It's only a one hour and 10 minute plane ride from Manila to the capital city of Dipolog, and then a one hour car ride or 46 kilometer distance (or less when the main highway is constructed and finished via the coastal road to Dapitan City) to Libay, Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte, from which it is a 5 minute boat ride or merely 200 meters from the mainland to the island. At the back of the island which is just a short walk by foot to the mainland during the lowest tide, electricity connected from the national grid of Maria Cristina of the Iligan province providiing 24 hours of service a day by a road that connects to the national highway and anywhere in Mindanao.

Isla Milagrosa is located in Murciliagos Bay and bounded by the two provinces of Zamboanga del Norte and Misamis Occidental with a newly discovered, but undeveloped and untapped tourism potential. The island is also secured by the mountainous and hillside surroundings at the back of the Island and also protected in front by the bigger Island of Barangay of Sinipay, Sibutad, which protect from the big waves. On the Western side of the Island, there exists 10 to 20 meters of deep sea coast channel which lead to the open ocean of the Pacific and Bohol Sea, where big ships such as the “Love Boat” or tourist boats can directly dock.

Thanks to the geographic location which provides natural protection, no big waves can disrupt the tourist or guest from swimming, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, and other leisure sports. Nothing can hinder the enjoyment of the rich and abundant aqua-marine resources, reef barriers and sea food in the bay where the sea water is lukewarm during the night and crystal clear during the day. The island is blessed with a life size grotto of “Our Lady of Lourdes” with St. Bernadette, in an open Air Chapel and an Altar.

Presently, water is supplied by the local Barangay Natural Spring from the mainland. However, to cater the needs of a big resort, water can be pumped from a drilling well through a pipe all the way to the island, a distance of only 200-300 meters, or by the desalination treatment of sea water into potable drinking water. This water supply helps keep the various fruit bearing trees alive on the Island.
