Tajer Lighthouse

Built in 1876, the Tajer Lighthouse is a large stone building connected to a monumental iron tower by a 200-foot long corridor. The spacious building yard covers around 1200 square feet, and both apartments offer splendid panoramic views of the Kornati islands, Long Island, and the immense open sea.

Location
Coordinates: 15 nautical miles south of Zadar, 1 nautical mile south of the Kornat Island.
Beach
A large berth with a boat crane offers ample room for sunbathing. Stairs lead directly into the sea, providing easy access for swimming and relaxation.
Transfer
The return transfer to the Tajer Lighthouse starts from Sukošan on the mainland. It is advised to contact the boat captain 2-3 days in advance. The trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering a unique navigation experience through the straits and around the islands of the Kornati archipelago.
Supplies
There is no possibility to purchase provisions on the island, so please ensure you purchase everything you need before arriving. The town of Sukošan offers several well-stocked supermarkets.

The lighthouse tower was made in France and is the only iron tower in the Adriatic Sea. It took builders several months to bolt and weld it together before the light could be lit. The master bedroom offers an incredible view of the revolving light as you lie down.
