Trophy Island
Trophy Island is an 18.6-acre island located in the pristine waters of Kokhanok Bay in Lake Iliamna. The island is a short boat ride from the Kokhanok River, Gibralter River, and Copper River, all of which flow into Lake Iliamna. The trout and salmon fishing in these three rivers is legendary, and nearby Katmai National Park is well known for moose and a large concentration of brown bears.

Trophy Island is an 18.6-acre island located in the pristine waters of Kokhanok Bay in Lake Iliamna. The island is a short boat ride from the Kokhanok River, Gibralter River, and Copper River, all of which flow into Lake Iliamna. The island is approximately 15 minutes by boat from the village of Kokhanok, which offers a K-12 school, post office, medical clinic, lit 5000ft runway, cell phone service, gas and diesel sales, and two small food marts.
Access
Trophy Island is accessed by float plane from:
Anchorage: 90 minutes
King Salmon: 60 minutes
Village of Iliamna: 10 minutes It is also accessed by ski plane in the winter months. Scheduled turbine aircraft service is available from Anchorage to Iliamna and King Salmon.
