If you are looking for privacy and want the peace and tranquility of owning a private island, look no further. This island is located in Little Chiblow Lake near the Narrows to Big Chiblow.  Chiblow Lakes are deep clear waters known for lake trout, whitefish and bass. These lakes also access several other lakes and streams.  We are located in Algoma Country, 70 miles east of Sault Ste. Marie between Thessalon and Blind River in Montgomery Township. The island is approximately 2.6 acres, elevated granite and wooded with pine, spruce, cedar, maple, birch and hemlock with a trail around the perimeter.  Camp Betty on Dancing Waters is our cottage, built from ground up in 2007 by Valley Construction, a local builder.  It is very private, located on the east side of the island, surrounded by Crown Land with water views from virtually every room and has no visible neighbors.  The 24-ft by 32 ft cottage is two stories, with a wrap around deck. It measures approximately 1,140 sq ft interior area, 1,285 sq ft exterior area, and 248 square feet excluded area.  The cottage has three bedrooms with a bathroom and currently has beds for eight but could comfortably sleep 10 to 12.  It is powered by propane for hot water, refrigerator, stove and lights, and is also wired for electricity with a generator and has a grey water system. There is an outbuilding for additional dock storage, generator and wood shed. The island is located in an unorganized Township, with no building permits required or restrictions, and has several locations for additional cottages, without losing privacy. There is a protected cove with a dock to moor your boat/bush plane. We launch from our private dock at Chiblow Lake Lodge on the mainland. It is a 5-minute boat ride to the island. Turnkey.
