Lodging provided in Main House, Cottage, and 2 glamping tents. Main House has 5 guest rooms, 3.5 baths, front porch, living room w/fireplace & tv, washer/dryer, dining room, BBQ, Chef's kitchen. Cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, fireplace, screened in porch overhanging the water. Two glamping tents each with a king-size bed share bath facilities in the nearby wedding barn.
There is air-conditioning and auxiliary heat in the main house and cottage. There is excellent Wi-Fi. The kitchen has a commercial range, double ovens, and griddle. There is a commercial refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. There is a microwave, air-fryer, and one-pot as well as all food preparation materials and meal service for 20 persons maximum.
Outside, the island has a trail system for walking and 360 degrees of beaches with beautiful water for swimming. There is a fire pit facing out over the lake to the north, lawn games like Bocci and Corn-hole. There are small boats (canoe, kayaks, row boat, and stand up paddle boards) on the main beach. There is an on site manager for boat transport, boat tour & assistance with fires.
The mainland base is on Rt 9 in the town of Pottersville (off I-87 Exit 26). It's about mid-way between New York City and Montreal (3.5 hours drive to either). There is plenty of room to park multiple cars. It is a 5-minute boat ride to Brill Island by Pontoon Boat. Easy transport is provided for you and your party, luggage, and your provisions to the island. There is a marina on Schroon Lake to the north of the town of Schroon Lake about 10 miles north. There are wonderful day trips in the area to Lake Placid (1 hour drive) or Saratoga (1 hour drive), and a multitude of hiking trials and biking routes in the immediate area. The nearest major airport in Albany (ALB), NY. - 1.25 hours travel by car.
